The Miss dEdmonton contest is back - are YOU ready for it?
From September 1st, 2010 through September 30th, 201, we are once again accepting original 90 second videos that may qualify you to become Miss dEdmonton!
The First Miss dEdmonton, Joey Tramer, has had a fun time over the last year. Not only has she been in several parades both in and out of town, but she got the chance to meet Mayor Stephen Mandel. Not a bad gig for the very first Miss dEdmonton - will you be next?
As Miss dEdmonton you will be needed over the next year to let the world know all about dEdmonton and your duties will include parade appearances, general appearances, photo shoots and other promotional opportunities - some will be in bars, but some of them will have young ‘uns around. That’s right, this isn’t just a weekend gig, you get to be in costume several times over the next year!
The voting will be by internet viewers and a panel of judges, including a few guests. The judges will be grading you on your appearance, ability to answer some Halloween related questions, how entertaining you are, and your ability to SCREAM!
So, rules and regulations, grab your video camera, practice your Scary Skill and your Screams. Then head over to YouTube and upload your video. Make sure you place “Miss dEdmonton” in both the description and tags, and drop us an email at contest@dEdmonton.com to let us know.
