dEdmonton.tv episode and car show(s)

The July edition of dEdmonton.tv is online for your viewing pleasure.

In it we talk a bit about DEDfest coming in August to the new Metro Cinema, Calyn from Karrie’s Kostumes that is going to the International Makeup Artists Trade Show in Vancouver as a Makeup Artist, the Rock N August International Car Show, with our very own Edmonton Bone Wagon Association making an appearance, some frightful collaborations, and a special segment on a one-stop haunters site, haunTopic.com

In addition, the Edmonton Bone Wagon Association had a few of their vehicles at the 7th Annual Kreepers Hot Rod Rumble and grand opening of After Dark Motorcycles on July 16th, 2011. Here’s a quick recap of what was there, and is only a preview of some of the great vehicles that you’ll see at Rock ‘N’ August from August 2nd through 6th, 2011.

Until our August show where we will be talking about DEDfest and the upcoming Miss dEdmonton competition, remember… stay undead!

We want to thank all of the other vloggers and subscribers to our YouTube channel and especially The Bloodshed Brothers who gave dEdmonton.tv a shout-out on their vlog. Watch the episode here or visit their website at TheBloodshedBrothers.com.

As mentioned the TransWorld haunt show is happening this weekend (along with several other events) and Halloween Manty has posted a great video showing some of what we are missing by not being there:

The Edmonton Bone-Wagon Association also mentioned that some of them are heading down to Hearse Con 2011 in Denver, Colorado in June. Here’s the full video that you see part of in the latest episode:

Also mentioned in the episode are the “newspapers” that @Peanutgnome has set up. Have a look at both the daily Halloween and Horror edition and the weekly Haunt edition and keep on top of things that are happening. (Oh, if you want he also follows the automotive news too…). Unfortunately there are no back-issues, but subscribe to get an alert in your mailbox daily.

Need to congratulate the makers of “Dreamgirl 666″ and “It Came From Under the Sink” entries they did for DEDfest 6:66 – the films keep getting better!
The next DEDfest 6:66 contest and film was announced – April 1st they will be showing ARMY OF DARKNESS and the short film entries should be in the style of… Bruce Campbell – get your cameras, scripts, props and special effects ready. Head on over to DEDfest.com for more details.

Lust, Ladies and Luchadores!

Don't Wait for October!

Can’t wait for October? DEDfest is giving you a chance to get a head start on the Halloween season:

The lovely ghoulitas of lascivious burlesque will slink their way out of their silk-lined coffins for an evening of scarily seductive, scantily clad, horrifically hell-tastic fun. Our diabolical dancers include Cherry BonBon, The Sultry Vixen, Holly Sin, Sweet Sally Sass, Lady Amethyst, Pandora, Terez, and Danailya.

Tickets are only $15! Highballs and domestic beer are only $4.25, and we’ve got prizes galore!

And that’s not all folks… admission includes a screening of the craziest animated film of the decade – a film that could only come from the mind of Rob Zombie: “The Haunted World of El Superbeasto”! Based on the comic created by Rob Zombie, El Superbeasto – masked wrestler, superhero and adult film entrepreneur – teams up with his super sexy sister Suzi X to take on the foul-mouthed stripper Velvet Von Black and her partner, the diabolical Dr. Satan and stop their unholy plot to destroy Monsterland!

Tickets available at The Lobby DVD Shop on Whyte (780.433.0600), and through Lascivious Burlesque (LasciviousBurlesque@yahoo.ca).

Thursday, September 17. Doors are at 8, movie at 8:30, and Lascivious after the film.

Visit www.DEDfest.com for more details, or let them know you’ll be there on Facebook.
