2011 Halloween Events around Edmonton

It’s October, and we’re halfway through it – which means that the final 2 weeks that we have been waiting for all year are here!

In our latest episode of dEdmonton.tv we mention several of the things that are happening in Edmonton and area in the next couple of weeks.

Make sure you visit the calendar and the dEdmonton’s Most Haunted map so you can plan your route.

And, just in case the zombie apocalypse happens before Halloween, read the article in The Metro news on Where to flee when the dead invade Edmonton

Thank you to EVERYONE who has helped, hinted, haunted, and horrified us this year – enjoy your Halloween!

It’s that Halloween season again

Carla at a RCZC zombie walkAre you ready? It’s almost Halloween season again!

Several Halloween Stores have opened in town, along with the few that remain open all year, and dEdmontonians are getting into the spirit of things.

We still have some undertaking to do but we are getting things rolling once again with dEdmonton’s Most Haunted. Do you decorate your abode in it’s Halloween finest? Then let us know and we can put you up on our map. We’ll even dispatch our minions to place a lawn sign letting the world know that you’re one of our featured haunts!

While we all wait for The Walking Dead to start (on October 16th!)  you can get your own zombie on October 7th at a zombie walk with the theme of Zombie’s in Space (visit their Facebook event page: THE RCZC 5TH ANNIVERSARY ZOMBIE WALK: ZOMBIES IN SPACE ) and the next night is their First Annual Zombie Prom and BBQ and The Pawn Shop.

The Edmonton Bone Wagon Association is appearing all over the place too – recently seen at store openings of Spirit Halloween and Custom Costumes, but also in parades, car shows, and at the Smoky Lake Great White North Pumpkin Festival and Weigh-off October 1st and the Prairie Gardens Haunted Pumpkin Festival.

Remember to keep an eye on our Halloween Events Calendar for all the upcoming events, and stay tuned to dEdmonton.TV to hear more details and recaps about some of these events.

The July edition of dEdmonton.tv is online for your viewing pleasure.

In it we talk a bit about DEDfest coming in August to the new Metro Cinema, Calyn from Karrie’s Kostumes that is going to the International Makeup Artists Trade Show in Vancouver as a Makeup Artist, the Rock N August International Car Show, with our very own Edmonton Bone Wagon Association making an appearance, some frightful collaborations, and a special segment on a one-stop haunters site, haunTopic.com

In addition, the Edmonton Bone Wagon Association had a few of their vehicles at the 7th Annual Kreepers Hot Rod Rumble and grand opening of After Dark Motorcycles on July 16th, 2011. Here’s a quick recap of what was there, and is only a preview of some of the great vehicles that you’ll see at Rock ‘N’ August from August 2nd through 6th, 2011.

Until our August show where we will be talking about DEDfest and the upcoming Miss dEdmonton competition, remember… stay undead!
